Trust me, though--you will. I tried to date Mormon women, honestly. Between kids and his work and his being asleep in the living room chair, there is no communication. She might want to follow the 'virgin until marriage' part, or she may personally decide to forego following that in secret.
Where to Appreciate the Joys of Naked Gardening
I will keep reading, but it looks like most of the stuff about racism and polygamy has been "adequately" explained away by updates to LDS. Honestly, the thing that makes me the craziest is the missionaries. As someone born and raised in the church this has been very difficult to moderate and there is some social pressure to become more involved. While the Church allows dating at 16, it discourages serious relationships until you both are older and considering marriage. Plan on her family trying to torpedo your relationship if you don't convert.
Hi, like others I've read a lot of the posts but still have a few questions. I think you need to figure out if you are willing to stay in a relationship with a man who's so busy, because trust me, it's not going to change anytime soon. My seminary teacher went off on me about dating a non Mormon when I was talking about going to his prom. He is extremely compassionate. We'll see how long till last I have my business degree and work in a male Dominated environment so I have choices. I think in most situations its either you join or she leaves- either you, or the church.
I married my husband 11 years ago, when he was an undergrad student. My nonmember husband and I have been married for almost 18 years. I am really in love with him. Maybe you do, too. I'm the wife of an intern and we try to make a night each week to go do something, just the two of us. The man had essentially been in acadamics his whole life and was emotionally immature. These insane hours are wearing on me and I fear what has happened to so many I know will start to happen to us. Only idiots are unfriendly to non-Mormon spouses.
