Skip navigation! Story from Living. My boyfriend Steve and I stood, naked, hands on our hips and stared hopelessly at our hire car, its back wheels buried into about a foot-and-a-half of sand. No amount of angry revving or sweary reversing had succeeded in dislodging it. We were stuck. Luckily, at that moment, a naked French man appeared from around a corner and offered to help. The French man and Steve pushed, I put my foot down. A few minutes later we were free.

It was pouring rain when they arrived at the Long Beach Island rental house. Craig and the girls huddled on the porch, while Elaine jiggled the key in the lock. She hoped it was the wrong house, but the key turned and the door opened onto a stuffy mildew-smelling living room with dark paneled walls and a matted green shag rug. Craig said nothing, which seemed worse than criticism. She switched on a lamp that was encrusted with seashells, mostly clam, some chipped and broken. He gave her a look then headed back outside.
Welcome to Reddit,
I first heard of White Tail Resort back around from a friend who has since passed. He had invested in one of the trailer lots and reminded me quite often about how much fun he had there. I thought at the time that you had to have a pretty well developed sense of humor if you were going to walk around all day interacting with your fellow humans completely naked. The three hour drive to the resort from my home in Sharps, Virginia gave me plenty of time to deal with my fears. This was going to be my first experience being nude in a social environment. It was like any of the other Memorial Day weekend celebration going on around America, except at White Tail Resort every one, not including the staff, are required to be nude at all times.
I think I may have been a nudist pretty much all of my life, though I did not come from a nudist family. Early in life, as young as six, I remember taking off my clothes anytime I got the chance, but always alone. My father was Air Force, so we moved around quite a bit.
